Circa late 19th century of Meiji period. There is red kanji marks by split on base.
Condition excellent. There is a typical splitting of ivory on either side of ships hull. Split is 1" (2.5 cm) long either side. No other issues to mention.
Ivory weight is 7 oz. It is 2 7/8" (7.2 cm) widest, 4 1/4" (10.6 cm) tall and 1 3/4" (4.4 cm) deep.
