- Circa Meiji period 1860's vintage.
- Signed Hichozan Shimpo Fukagawa (made in Hizen Arita). Place of kiln Sarayama by Fukagawa.
- Excellent condition. Minor age crazing and some tiny enamel chips on crimped area, not obvious, mostly obscure.
- Mirror opposing samurai scenes within cartouches. Typical Fukagawa colors of this period.
- Vases are 14 5/8" tall, 6 1/4" top width, 5 7/8" body width and 3 3/8" abse width.
